Core to automating the prescribing process is the adoption and use electronic prescribing technologies with physician-pharmacy interoperability as well as the testing of innovative approaches to improve patient compliance with prescribed medications. Targeted research projects overseen by The Center will evaluate and establish best practices in support of these purposes.
